Combine a scenic, expertly narrated tour to the summit of spectacular 10,023 foot high Haleakala with a visit to the unique Iao Needle located in lush Iao Valley State Park and the town of Wailuku.
Visit the spectacular "House of the Sun," Mount Haleakala Crater and Visitor Center. Enjoy Puu Ulaula Overlook and the rare Silverswords. Venture into the town of Wailuku and view impressive sugar cane fields and the Kaahumanu Church. Then, you will take a scenic drive to the soaring Iao Needle in the Iao Valley State Park.
The tour will make a stop at Casanovas Restaurant (or similar). Price of lunch is not included. We will pick you up and return you to your hotel in Maui.

- Dress for cold weather (20-40 degrees Fahrenheit) for the Haleakala summit. However, remember that the temperature in lower areas is much warmer. Wear layered clothing.
